Events, a fun workshop, and more
February 22, 2018
Hello newsletter subscribers!I hope you're well. I just updated my web site with various events I have coming up. I'll be doing talks in Dubai, Chicago, Laramie, San Diego, Beverly Hills, and other places in the coming weeks and months and I'd love to see you there. You can find more information about those events on my web site here:

I'm also leading a workshop with Elizabeth Gilbert in September at 1440 Multiversity in Scotts Valley, California. We taught a workshop there together last year and loved it so much we decided to do it again (and this year we've added another day to the program). The workshop is called Brave Magic and we'll be guiding participants in exercises and that invite them to explore and expand their creativity, courage, and curiosity. You don't have to be a writer to attend (though we'll be doing a lot of writing). Registration just opened up. Last year this workshop filled up quickly, so if you're interested I recommend you register very soon. Here's the link for more information about the workshop and the place:

I've been getting lots of questions in my email inbox about how to find my podcast, "Dear Sugars," and also the NYT column that's a companion piece to the podcast (called The Sweet Spot). The column can be found here:

The podcast can be found here (and also on iTunes or whatever podcast app you like to use):

My Dear Sugars co-host, Steve Almond, and I will be doing a live show in Portland next week at Revolution Hall and I hope to see some of you there. We'll also be in the studio over the next many days recording our next season, which will begin with brand new episodes on March 10th.
In addition to all of that, yes, I am hard at work on another book. That's what this year is all about for me. Writing that dang book! I'll keep you posted on that later this year.
Thanks for reading. Wishing you all wild, good things.
Yours,
Cheryl Strayed
